📚 What the Test Assesses: General Information Measures the student's general knowledge and awareness. Reading Recognition Assesses the ability to identify printed letters and read words aloud. Reading Comprehension Evaluates the student's understanding of written text. Mathematics Tests knowledge and application of age-appropriate math concepts and principles. Spelling Measures the student’s ability to spell words correctly. Written Expression This section varies by grade: Kindergarten–Grade 1: Focuses on pre-writing skills. Grades 2–12: Students are asked to write a short story based on a picture prompt. 🧾 Test Format and Materials The test is entirely oral, except for the Written Expression section. Students will need a pencil for the written portion.
